Abstract
This paper describes an application of fuzzy logic to design a fuzzy controller for the automatic generation control (AGC) problem in power system studies. A two area power system is considered. Frequency and tie-line power deviations for a step load increase in one area are plotted as a function of time, and are compared with available responses using the classical integral controller
