Issue Rules
- Text Books to be issued for three days only.
- A maximum of only two books from textbooks can be issued at a time.
- A book can be renewed twice only.
Late Fines
Late fines @ Rs. 6/Day will be charged.
Restricted Books
In some of the books "Not to be issued" is written those books cannot be issued, it can be used for reading purpose only.
Remember
Books from this section may be taken outside of the section area for reading and photocopying purpose only and for that students have to submit their ID cards with the book card available from inside the book.
In case of any type of fine, the same is to be deposited online and the receipt is to be produced in the section for settlement.
Your ID is essentially required for all Checkouts. We cannot make exceptions for Checkouts.

Eligibility
Priority & Availability
Book bank facility has been mainly designed for scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribe students and also available for OBC, MCM, EWS and General students on First-cum-First Serve basis.
Schedule
Students can avail the books from the Book Bank collection as per the schedule announced by the library.
Requirements
Students have to bring their ID cards for Book Bank facility.
Book Limit
Up to 6 books can be issued per semester (six months) to undergraduates.
Return Policy
Books in Book Bank can be returned on or before the due date but another book cannot be issued in place of that.
Late Fine
Late fine at the rate of Rs. 1/- per day.

RFID Station
The Section is equipped with the RFID Station and you need bring your ID card for issue of the Books from this Section
No Writing or Highlighting
Writing and highlighting in books is not allowed.
Cost recovery of Lost Books by the Library members
Following is the approved criteria for recovering the cost of lost books by Library members:
The lost book should be replaced by a new book with overdue charges, if any and with processing charges of Rs. 100/- for each book.
In case the book is out of print or not available in the market then the double of the cost mentioned in the Accession register should be charged with processing charges of Rs. 100/- for each book with overdue charges, if any.
Minimum of Rs. 300/- to be charged with processing charges of Rs. 100/- for each book with overdue charges, if any.
The cost of the book in foreign currency to be charged at the current conversion rate of the currency.
